Jarguz Aloysius

(b. 1934) - Polish former international football referee, and activist. As the first Polish referee a mat ch during the World Cup lead. He was an officer in the army. Offi ciated at the World Championships in 1978 in Argentina (1 match a s a referee 2 as a main line), and 4 years later in Spain (1 match as the main, 2 as linear). Jarguz conducted over 1200 matches, including 18 interstate representation. Ok. 70 international club, 25 in European competition, and more than 250 league matches in the country.
